#1 Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life – think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.

सबसे पहले एक विचार को लें, उस विचार को अपना जीवन बनायें – उसके विषय में सोचें, सपने देखें, और उस विचार के साथ जियें। अपने मस्तिस्क, मांसपेशियों, नसों, अपने शरीर के सभी भागों को उन विचों से भर दें और दुसरे विचारों को भूल जाएँ। यही सफलता का रास्ता है।

#2 We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.

अगर पैसे से किसी मनुष्य का अच्छा हो सकता हैं  तो पैसे का कोई मूल्य है, पर अगर नहीं, तो यह साधारण रूप से बुराई का एक टुकड़ा है, और जितना जल्दी यह हाँथ से चले जाये, उतना अच्छा है।

#10 Never think there is anything impossible for the soul. It is the greatest heresy to think so. If there is sin, this is the only sin; to say that you are weak, or others are weak.

जब एक विचार विशेष रूप से मन में जगह बना लेता है, तो यह वास्तविक शारीरिक या मानसिक रूप में तब्दील हो जाता है।

#13 The Vedanta recognizes no sin it only recognizes error. And the greatest error, says the Vedanta is to say that you are weak, that you are a sinner, a miserable creature, and that you have no power and you cannot do this and that.

वेदांत किसी भी पाप को नहीं पहचानता है, यह मात्र गलतियों को पहचानता है। और सबसे बड़ी गलती यह है कि वेदांत कहता है की आप कमजोर हैं, आप एक पापी हैं, एक दुखी प्राणी हैं, और आपके के पास कोई ताकत नहीं हैं और आप ये नहीं कर सकते वो नहीं कर सकते।

आराम सचाई का कोई परीक्षा नहीं। सच तो अक्सर आराम से  कोसों दूर है।

कुछ भी ना पूछो; फल पाने की आशा ना करें। दीजिये जो आपके पास है देने के लिए, बह वापस नहीं मिलेगा, परन्तु फल के विषय में  समय हैं।

एक मुर्क भले ही दुनिया के सभी किताबों को खरीद ले, और हो सकता है उन किताबों को अपने लाइब्रेरी में रख ले; परन्तु वह उन्हें तभी पढ़ सकता है अगर वह उसके काबिल है तो।

क्या आप निस्वार्थ है? यही प्रश्न है? अगर आप निस्वार्थ हैं, आप बिलकुल सही हैं और आपको किसी भी धार्मिक किताब को पढने की जरूरत नहीं है और ना किसी चर्च या मंदिर में जाने की जरूरत है।

#36 Blessed are they whose bodies get destroyed in the service of others.

वे धन्य हैं जिनका शरीर दूसरों की सेवा में नस्ट हो जाता है।

एक बहुत ही मुर्ख व्यक्ति भी किसी कार्य को पूरा कर सकता है अगर वह उसके दिल को पसंद आये या वह उस कार्य की चाह रखता हो। परन्तु एक बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति के लिए कोईभी कार्य हो चाहे उसे पसंद आता हो या नहीं वह उसको अपनी पसंद/स्वाद के अनुसार पूरा कर ही लेता है।

#40 Devotion to duty is the highest form of worship of God.

कर्तव्य के प्रति समर्पण भगवान की पूजा का उच्चतम रूप है।

#41 This is a great fact: strength is life; weakness is death. Strength is felicity, life eternal, immortal; weakness is constant strain and misery, weakness is death.

यह एक महँ तथ्य है; शक्ति जीवन है, कमजोरी मृत्यु है। शक्ति परम सुख है, जीवन अनंत है, अमर है; कमजोरी हमेशा तनाव और दुख है, कमजोरी मृत्यु है।

स्वतंत्रा अपने आपको बेहतर बानाने का पहला शर्त है। यह गलत है, एक हज़ार बार गलत हैं, अगर आप हिम्मत से कहते हैं कि, ‘ मैं इस महिला या बच्चे के उद्धार के लिए।

मनुष्य परमात्मा को साकार करने से परमात्मा बन गया है। मूर्तियों और मंदिरों, या चर्च या किताबें, केवल समर्थनके लिए है, अपने आध्यात्मिक बचपन की मदद कर रहे हैं।
